Shane Michaels is an award winning producer, director, cinematographer, and writer with over 30 years’ experience working in the entertainment industry with some of the biggest names and studios in Hollywood. He is an Emmy Award winner and hopes to one day receive an Oscar.

 

Shane’s inspiration for filmmaking began as a young boy after watching the original theatrical release of Star Wars: A New Hope. The film’s ground-breaking story, cinematography, and special effects had a huge impact on Shane. His passion is to create successful "outside the box" content that is engaging, thought provoking, and has a positive benefit for the audience.  

 

Shane is a graduate of UCLA and California State University, where he majored in film and TV production. He graduated at the top of his class and won several awards for his films. Prior to film school Shane gained experience working as a television producer at a local Los Angeles cable company. At 15 he was mentored in the industry by a producer that worked on the TV show, Hill Street Blues.

With a career spanning many decades, Shane has worked on every type of production in the industry. From ultra low budget to multi-million dollar shows, he always strives to get as much production value as possible for his clients.
